If you follow me on social media or know me personally then it’s highly likely that this post is a little redundant. Regardless, I would like to bring this full circle and highlight a problem with WordPress. Yes, there are many things that could be considered “the problem” but I think the current (and largest) problem to solve is how to empower novice users to be able to create great WordPress websites.
Four years ago my co-founder JR Farr and I made the bold decision to take the plunge and sell our startup MOJO Marketplace to Endurance International Group. For those that don’t know, Endurance has been a dominant and relatively quiet brand rooted in the website hosting industry. It’s probably safe to say that there is a good chance you or one of your family members have used one of our products.
Spending the week in Napa with the VIP WordPress team is not a bad work week. Here are some random thoughts and photos from the trip.
I am excited to start talking about the release of WooCommerce hosting on Bluehost. It’s a product I have a lot of ideas around and I think the market as a whole is going to gravitate towards more purpose driven services like this. In all honesty, the product has been live on the site for months but we have not actually helped people find it. (which is rather dumb of us I might add)
